This notice aims to inform you about the way I, Christianna Tsigaloglou, collect and process your personal data.
Personal Data: I collect personal data from you when you contact me for the purpose to seek legal advice. In such cases, I collect and process the following data: a) Full name and the enterprise that you may represent, b) Contact information, e.g. email address and phone number, c) Data related to methods of payment, d) Data provided directly by you, e) Data generated by me in the course of providing legal services to clients. However, I do not collect any personal data when you enter this website or visit any section of this website.
Use of Personal Data: I collect and process your personal data: a) In order to provide you with the best possible legal services requested by you. To this purpose, it may be necessary to appoint other professionals to act on your behalf, b) With the purpose of managing and retaining my business relationship with you, c) For billing purposes.
Legal Base of the use of your Personal Data: I collect and process your personal data based on the following legal basis: a) For the performance of an engagement contract to which you are a party, b) In order to take the necessary steps prior entering into an engagement contract with you, c) For the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, d) To comply with my legal obligations as a lawyer, e) To protect your vital interests when I act on your behalf under the capacity as your legal advisor, f) For legitimate business purposes, g) Based on your consent, for the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes.
How long do I keep your Personal Data: I keep your personal data for as long as I find it necessary so as to be compliant with the applicable legislation or for the period which I believe that suits best my operational requirements as well as your interests.
Transfer of Personal Data: Unless you have given your consent, I will not transfer or disclose your personal data to any third persons (legal entities or individuals), except for those third persons that may be appointed by me to act on your behalf or where we are required by law or otherwise to do so. In the case that such third persons act as data processors, on behalf and under the instructions of my office, I guarantee you that they will fulfill all industry standards for the protection of your personal data.
Your rights: You have the right to request access to your personal data. You also have the right to data portability, which means that you can have your data transferred to another company. Moreover, you have the right to have your personal data rectified or erased and the right to restrict and to object to the processing of your personal data by my law office. In the case that you have provided your prior consent for the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes, you have also the right to withdraw such consent. In addition to your rights above, you are also entitled to lodge a complaint with the Greek Data Protection Authority. However, please note that if you are willing to appoint me as your legal advisor, you are required to provide me with your personal data.
